Francesca Dardani is known for the versatility of her playing, allowing her to expand her musical career as a soloist, chamber musician, leader and music contractor.

She has performed throughout Italy, the United States, France, Sweden, Holland, Germany, Spain and Switzerland. Performances include venues such as Carnegie Hall, Avery Fisher Hall, Alice Tully Hall, the London BBC Proms, the Royal Albert Hall, the Concertgebouw (Amsterdam) and the Snape Maltings Concert Hall (England).

Francesca can be frequently seen leading , contracting and performing regularly with different ensembles all over NYC ,where she is currently based, at venues like  Lincoln Center, Symphony Space, Carnegie Hall,  the Beacon Theater, Prudential Hall, Radio City Music Hall,  Madison Square Garden and Barclays Center. She appeared on national television in live performances such as The Tonight Show, America’s Got Talent Season 9 and 10, The David Letterman Show, Good Morning America ,PBS specials, the MET Gala, The Colbert Show, Billboard Music Awards,  the Grammy Awards, Governors Ball , Cayuga Sound Festival, TIDAL show and more. Francesca regularly contracts musicians for studio sessions and live performances. She can be heard on original motion pictures soundtracks like Erased Boy, I,Tonya , LA 92 and more.

Popular artists she has performed on tours, recorded or shared the stage with recently include Stevie Wonder (Songs In The Key Of Life tour) , Madonna, Rihanna, Halsey, John Legend, St.Vincent, Smokey Robinson, Kesha,  KYGO, Sir Paul McCartney, Jon Batiste, Elvis Costello, the Roots, Jon Batiste, Andrea Bocelli, Megan Trainoir, Leona Lewis, Calum Scott, OK Go, Skyler Grey, Audra Day, First Aid Kit, DJ David Guetta, Ed Sheeran, Josh Groban, Camila Cabello, Bebe Rexha, Cindy Lauper, Julia Michaels and many more.

Francesca is also an avid chamber musician and has been invited to participate and perform in many festivals including the Mozarteum Sommerakademie (Salzburg), the Bowdoin International Music Festival, the Sarasota Music Festival, the International Holland Music Session, Aldeburgh Festival, the London Masterclasses, the Aurora Chamber Music Festival (Sweden), the IMS Prussia Cove and the Edinburgh Festival (Scotland).Francesca performed alongside members of the Berliner Philharmoniker, Mahler Chamber Orchestra, New York Philharmonic, Metropolitan Opera Orchestra, and the Leipzig Gewandhaus Orchestra.

She has worked with prominent artists and teachers like Maxim Vengerov, Pamela Frank, Pavel Vernikov,  Mauricio Fuks, Miriam Fried and performed under the baton of Oliver Knussen, Simon Rattle, Sir Mark Elder, Edward Gardner, Robin Ticciati,  Semyon Bychkov, Mark Wigglesworth, Pablo Heras- Casado and many more.

She was a member of the orchestra Archi De Sono String Orchestra (Torino), iPalpiti Artists (Los Angeles), Mimesis Ensemble, American Symphony Orchestra, principal second a the Britten Pears Orchestra (England), and former co-principal of the opera Orchestra Teatro Regio (Parma). In New York City, she performed for orchestras on and off Broadway ( Sweeney Todd, Hamilton, Matilda, Found etc..) 

Italian-Chinese American, Francesca was born and raised in Parma, Italy, and began her violin studies at the age of eight. Following studies at the Conservatorio A. Boito (Parma) after receiving a scholarship from DeSono Associazione, she was accepted at the Mannes College of Music in New York to study with Lewis Kaplan. She graduated with a Bachelor of Music in 2010, and continued her studies with Krzysztof Wegrzyn in Hannover (Germany). Francesca received a Master of Arts degree from the Royal Academy of Music, London, in 2013 under the tutelage of Richard Deakin.
